Playlist Rating

The playlists rating is a measure to help you find how good a Spotify playlist is. But what makes a playlist good? There are many factors, currently we rate a playlist based on the following criteria:

  1. Not Repeating artists: a good playlist usually has one song per artist. Rating will be low if artists repeat so many times.
  2. Genres:So many genres in a playlist will give it low rating, best is to focus on one or few main genres in the playlist. You can check the main genres chart when you analyze a playlist.
  3. Variety of tracks popularity:Good playlists usually have a mix between popular and non popular songs in order to help listeners discover new music.
  4. Playlist length:We considered a good playlist length as 50 tracksat least, and there is no maximum length.

The scale runs from zero to five. Generally, the higher the number, the better the playlist.

Organize your playlists

What is the best way to organize playlists? Is it by genre, mood, or decade? With this tool, you can organize Spotify playlists by any of a wide range of musical properties and create filtered playlists. It can help you slice playlists by artists, main genres, sub-genres, decades of tracks’ release dates, popularity, happiness, energy, danceability, acousticness, and instrumentalness.

You can also collect specific tracks that you want to save to a particular playlist. Choose them from the playlist table, then save them to the playlist. You can change your Spotify playlist order the way you want.

Playlist BPM

Playlist BPM refers to the average Beats Per Minute of a playlist’s songs. BPM is a measure of a song’s tempo or speed and is usually expressed as a number. Playlist Analyzer offers features that allow you to:

  • Sort Spotify playlist by BPM
  • Filter Spotify playlist based on BPM

This makes it easier to find music that matches a desired tempo and save it to a new playlist.

Notes:

  • Playlist Analyzer is NOT available for playlists with more than 5000 tracks.
  • This tool doesn’t store any Spotify data. You can disconnect this tool from your Spotify account here under the app name “Chosic”.
  • Don’t worry. Playlist Analyzer/Organizer will never modify your library or any of your playlists. It will only save new playlists for you when you explicitly click the save button.
